Hendra Vaccination Policy

Hendra Vaccination is strongly recommended but not compulsory at TPC
Vaccination against Hendra is not just about protecting horses from the disease, though this is important of course as we all love our horses and want them to be safe, it is about protecting the people involved in our Pony Club.
Instructors, committee, and all involved in PC are volunteers, and most riders are children.
We alI understand the added cost can be difficult. But also appreciate the peace of mind for ourselves, our horses and our kids that comes with vaccinating.
Hendra is transferable to humans.
If you have horse safety concerns we suggest talking to your vet about these.
